Who We Are: Mamanet is a fun, social sports league for mothers started in Israel in 2005. The sport is Cachibol, also known as Newcomb, a variation of volleyball where players throw, catch and pass the ball on a regulation-size court. Social events, practices and games give women an opportunity to meet and bond with other women.
The league is open to all moms or Women ages 30-59.
Each team meets once a week for practice or a game
(1.5 hour commitment per week). Small monthly fee includes gym rental, coach, team jersey and game referee.
New season begins September and runs through May.
